Quality medicines. Made in Ghana.
The Small-Scale Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Ghana unites licensed local manufacturers to strengthen quality, expand access and build a sustainable pharmaceutical industry.

A stronger future for small-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing.
With more than 120 members across Ghana’s regions, SSPMAG brings together public and private pharmaceutical entities operating in hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, compounding and local medicine manufacturing. As the country’s largest indigenous grassroots network for small-scale pharmaceutical production, SSPMAG forms a foundational part of Ghana’s ambition to become a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing hub in Africa. Its nationwide capacity also strengthens preparedness for future health emergencies by supporting resilient local production and regional medicine supply.
